The Bacopa Giant Snowflake, a vigorous trailing annual...
About The Bacopa Giant SnowflakeThe Bacopa Giant Snowflake has transformed the entire Bacopa series. Can a trailing annual get any better? With butterflies fluttering above the jumbo white blooms, this trailing Bacopa will satisfy every gardeners wish for a vigorous growing trailing annual for container planting. The large white flowers rest upon long slender branches and deadheading is not required! One note of caution: once established in your container, this Bacopa can withstand some dryness, however do not allow to dry out too much as the flowers will wilt and drop off. At that point, you can expect at least 2 weeks for the annual plant to recover to its natural state. How To Grow the Bacopa Giant SnowflakeThis annual trailing plant does not care too much about soil type, as long as you keep it reasonably moist and well drained. A perfect filler and spiller annual, plant the Bacopa in a sun, part sun or light shade area of the garden. A low maintenance annual, it's height is only 3" to 5" tall, but it can trail 20" to 30" in length. Besides container planting, this trailing annual would work well planted in hanging baskets and window boxes. I have yet to see a pest bother this plant. Great companion plants are: petunias, Verbena, Verbena Aztec Dark Red or any Coleus varieties.
