Coral Bells Lime Ricky a Heuchera for your perennial garden...
About the Coral Bells Lime RickyCoral Bells Lime Ricky, a vibrant lime green evergreen perennial the flower garden. If I could, I would plant far more of this Heuchera variety than I already do. The lime coloring is simply an outstanding contrast for all other plants. The image above is from my garden dated July 4, 2009. I guess you could say that I am a lover of the all Coral Bell varieties. It is not the flowers that grab you, it's the foliage. How To Grow The Coral Bells Lime RickyThe Coral Bells Lime Ricky grows into such perfect evergreen mounds of color interest that I try and squeeze just another one into the garden every year! Coral Bells prefer a moist soil, but not wet soil and grow much better in a shade to part shade location. Besides growing them in regular shade gardens, try planting them in rock gardens or as soil erosion control by planting in mass. Once the tall stem bloom cluster is spent, cut off at base and enjoy the evergreen foliage. Below are the other varieties of Coral Bells planted: Great companion plants: Impatiens, Begonia, Ladys Mantle or Magilla Purple Perilla.
