About The Echinacea Double Pink Delight

This Echinacea Double Pink Delight Coneflower has droopy daisy-like blooms and is perfect for any perennial garden design. The Double Pink Delight is just that...a delight to have in the garden with its' fluffy tufted double blooms.

I love the fact that this perennial variety blooms sooner than its counterparts and turns many heads in any flowerbed garden. Most people who visit my garden are curious about this perennial. All are surprised in hearing that it is a member of the Coneflower family.

How To Grow The Echinacea Double Pink Delight

The blooms, born on sturdy stems look droopy and daisy-like. They grow shorter than their counterparts so they should be planted as a medium size perennial in the overall garden design.

While I won't say that they are completely drought tolerate, they can withstand some short dry spells. And the blooms seem to last forever whether in dry soil or moist.

Remember to deadhead by cutting off the entire stem and not just the spent bloom.

Butterflies love to rest on the mop tops and bees enjoy hovering as well. Another good tip: deer do not eat this perennial! Nor is the Double Pink bothered by other garden pests. What could be better to plant?

Great companion plants: Shasta Daisy Becky, Purple and White Coneflower, Liatris Blazing Star or the Lavender Anouk.
