Use my MYKE...the natural growth supplement for a robust, healthy garden...

MYKE Perennial

Do you want healthy, sturdy trees and shrubs?

Perennials and annuals with big blooms and strong stems?

You've landed on the right web page...

Welcome to MYKE...

Jim and I stumbled upon MYKE quite by accident last summer. Our oval sun garden required anchor plantings and we decided on a couple of evergreens. We traveled to various garden centres hunting for just the right specimens.

Once we located the trees and went to pay, the cashier offered us a choice. We could take the garden centres 1 year warranty or purchase a tub of MYKE (growth supplement) and receive a 5 year warranty. We purchased the MYKE. A very wise choice on our part.

One thing to note:

At the time of purchase we had no idea that we purchased a growth supplement. We thought we had purchased a fertilizer for the trees. Subsequently, I read the container and educated myself on the product.

This spring I attended a garden seminar that included a workshop on MYKE. Since this product worked amazing well for our evergreens, I needed to know more.

So, what is MYKE?

MYKE® is an all- 100% natural (Mycorise) product line formulated for the different steps of indoor and outdoor planting. MYKE contains biological growth supplement mycorrhizae on a natural coarse granulated carrier (perlite, peat and compost) that gives additional porosity to the soil. This product contains no chemical additives.

MYKE® products are easy to use and safe for the environment, gardeners, their families and their pets. All these products have been approved by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and the United-States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

MYKE Evergreens

MYKE for trees and shrubs...

The information below is related to trees and shrubs, while the second section explains the use for annuals and perennials. And yes, there is MYKE lawn seed and MYKE lawn care.

Follow MYKE's simple instructions. Extended version available in brochure form. To the right, an image of my two large evergreens, which have grown amazingly well.

  • Yes, you have to plan. Plant what grows in your climate. Even MYKE can't help grow a Hibuscus through a Manitoba zone 3 winter.

  • Yes, you have to prepare to look after the shrubs and trees prior to planting. After purchasing your plants, trees or shrubs, don't leave them in their containers to dry out. Make sure to water them until ready to plant.

  • Yes, you have to plant according to the garden centre's instructions. New roots must be in contact with MYKE growth supplement, so make sure to spread it all around the root ball.

  • Yes, you have to water thereafter.
