Pond Tubing Images...an underground pond tubing applicationIn the first pond tubing image, the pond tubing runs from the small pond along the ground (50 ft.) to the pump house. We dug a trench to fit in the tubing size. Preserved wood built in an A frame covers the pipe. Next the A frame that Jim built with preserved wood is covered with the 'clean fill dirt' that we used to berm that portion of the backyard. See My Berms Page . In this image the end of the trench is shown. The tubing will now run up the back of the pump house (pictured) to the waterfall platform.
The above image (small pond to the left) shows the completion of laying the sod and path on the dirt berming. Underneath the sod and path is the A frame with the pond tubing. Jim ran 3 sets of tubing in case of failure. (ergo not having to dig up the ground to get to the tubing)
